One of the world's major languages, German is spoken by approximately 125 million native and non-native speakers.
Advanced German is offered in one delivery mode: Full Year (classes usually begin in late March or early April each year and run for 30 weeks with one 2-hour session weekly).

This course will provide you with ample opportunity to practice and apply what you will be learning across all four areas of language acquisition - Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing. The course will include grammar as well as ‘Landeskunde’ (cultural studies). The course is aimed at students who are interested in working towards the B1 (B1.2) level within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Predominantly, teaching instruction and conversation during the lessons will be in German.
The course is designed for students who have completed at least 3-5 years of language learning at PCE or the equivalent elsewhere, including any in-country experience.
